Our Story
Giftinz was born from a simple frustration that anyone who has attended a Nigerian party knows well: the money that gets sprayed does not always reach the celebrant. Notes fly off the floor. Some stick to shoes. Some disappear entirely. Meanwhile, the aunty in London who wanted to spray from abroad had no way to participate at all.
We built Giftinz to fix both problems at once. A platform where every spray is tracked, confirmed, and paid out directly to the person it was meant for — celebrated publicly on a live sprayboard that everyone in the room can see. And for those who cannot be in the room: a way to show up from anywhere in the world, in real time.
What started as a solution for event spraying has grown into something larger: a platform for every kind of digital giving in Nigeria. Giveaways. Group gifts. Charity campaigns. Diaspora gifting. The tradition of generosity was always there — we just gave it the infrastructure it deserved.
